Hitachi Blue #1 core, 52100/W2 low-contrast damascus cladding. Blade is lightly darkened with a coffee etch. 

Work pony chef, forward heavy, but with a thin grind. Just let the weight of the knife do the work for you. 

Balance point is at the pinch grip.
