188mm Wa San Mai Chef

188 x 47mm (7.4 x 1.85") chef with cocobolo handle. Copper/carbon fiber cap and Ivory G10 accent. 

Hitachi Blue #1 core, 52100/W2 low contrast damascus cladding. 

A dark themed chef, really nicely balanced in the hand. Most of the weight is in the handle, so it feels like an extension of your hand. Thin spine and grind for a delicate fine-work chef. 

Selling this one at a $100 discount as its not straight out of the handle and the edge is not in line with the handle. An unfortunate thing that can happen during gluing. A very nice knife otherwise. Both flaws are minor and should not affect the use of this knife. 

Balance point is just behind the pinch, giving it a very handle heavy feel.
