230 x 55mm (9.1 x 2.2") chef with ziricote handle.
26C3/Shear steel San mai blade.
Probably one of my best peices yet, both by forging and polishing standards. Semi-integral neck, coming out of the handle at ~11mm and quickly stepping down to around 5mm, then tapering out to the tip. You can even see the massive change in volume from the core and cladding materials, which I love.
The shape of the entire knife is more in a Western style, nice curve to the edge lending to a rock chop. Thin behind the edge, but a really nice weight in the hand.
