132mm Western Honesuki/Chef

132 x 45mm (5.2 x 1.8") chef with scrap resin and sandalwood handle. 

125Cr1 carbon steel blade. 

This was originally just a normal chef knife, but as I ground it, the tip became too thin and I burned the steel, losing the temper at the tip. I chopped off the blued steel, and got something that resembled a honesuki. While this is ground thinner than I would ordinarily grind a honesuki, you can definitely use it as such.
