135mm Western Lil' Chef

135 x 47mm petite chef with ebony and mahogany handle. 

1084/15N20 san mai blade. 

In a tiny little kitchen with itty bitty cutting boards? Live in a van? Don't like big knives? Just want a small lil guy to fill that hole in your soul left by some person in your life? Whatever your reasoning, I have a knife for you, and its a small one. 

Very similar to a lot of my normal work, spine is relatively thick (3.5-4mm) off the bolster, with a tall radius (concave) grind to give you something that feels lighter than it should while still maintaining a good weight. A nice san mai patterning with this one, very wavey and a bit random, but its all hardened steel. This came from the same billet as the 185mm san mai chef, this one was cleaned to a satin polish. I like doing that so the pattern comes out more with use.
