168mm Damascus Wa Chef

168 x 48mm (6.6 x 1.8") chef knife with a spalted curly maple handle. Black kirinite accent. All the spalted maple came from my dad's farm in Baltimore County. 

1084/15N20 carbon steel damascus blade. 

I usually don't do a fancy handle with a fancy blade, as I feel that sometimes its hard to know what to look at. This knife goes against that in the best way. I love that the pattern looks different on each side. 

Thicker bolster and spine give this little knife a nice heft to it. This is a mini workhorse chef, perfect for any task you throw at it. With the weight of the knife and the thin grind at the edge, you can let gravity do the work for you. The tip is ground razor thin to handle all the delicate fine work.
