171 x 40mm petty with ash and a mystery curly wood. Sometimes I get pieces from friends or scrap bins that look great, but I have no idea what it is.

125Cr1 carbon steel blade. 

A classic larger size petty, enough heel to rock chop or work on the cutting board, while still remaining small. I would say this is a great introduction to handmade knives because its a smaller investment and is a great all around, every day use kind of knife. 

That said, its also a great addition to any collection.
