Doghead Crab Mallet

My wife gave me the idea to make these, and I am glad I did. 

These are the fanciest crab hammers I've seen in a while, modeled after a doghead hammer, which is the style I use for forging my knives. They have a great forward weight, and who needs two hammer faces for cracking crabs?

Do not leave these in water or run in the dishwasher, caring for them properly will have them looking great for years to come. 

The heads are 4 x 1.5 x 1.25" roughly 8" in total length with handle.
