Forged Hunter

I needed a hunting knife for this deer season, so I forged a couple out of some W1 round bar. I love the way these came out with the forged fullered bolster. 

With your knife will come a right side belt sheath with a snap for easy on/off. 

I have taken my knife through five deer this year, from field dressing to quartering the deer for dry aging. It is robust enough to cut through sternum and cartilage, but thin enough to feel like a scalpel in joints. You could use this knife on anything from fish to elk and bear. Or just use it as a pencil sharpener. 

The knives are both in the 90mm range. 9-9.5" overall. 

These are carbon steel. Take care to avoid putting it away dirty, even if you have to rinse it in a stream. The knife and the sheath will last longer with care.
